NEW!  2/5/08 - Bringing image and color to life at the Double Shot Lunar Lounge Stage area will be Toons One, an international graffiti artist.  Get a dose of his "I" at, where else, Toon's Myspace site.


1/30/08 - The *Official* Double Standard schedule for all three stages is complete!

-  DJ Puffs [Spinaddicts] completes the Double Standard lineup and will get the vibe on the up and up at the Mountain Bar (1st Floor) from 9-11 PM. 


1/28/08 - Chee Malabar [Himalayan Project/Oblique Brown] and DJ Abel [Fakshuns] are confirmed additions to the Grand Stage.


1/27/08 - Artist Lineup and more event details are up!

NEW!  2/7/08 - We're pleased to announce that we've arranged an Open Bar option - a la carte if you will.  Drop $40 and pick your venue of choice.  The package includes soda, beer, wine and well drinks from 9-11 PM.  Payment at door, each person must sign a waiver, and absolutely no sharing.  Abuse it and you'll lose it...we'll kick you out too.  Drink responsibly and tip well.

Since 2003, the annual Double Standard event has provided a platform for artistic, personal and political expression through music and other performance art by artists largely unseen and ignored in mainstream America.  The Lunar New Year symbolically adds an air of progressive visions and one live celebration.  What we have here are some of the most talented Asian American singers, MCs and poets.  What we also have here are some of the freshest DJs from city to city.  Most importantly, what the Asian American community has here is a space to support the ever-growing Asiatic arts scene with other organizers and to bring about our own change.
